Male Hijama Therapist Vacancy at London Cupping Clinic in London

The following is an announcement by the London Cupping Clinic about a vacancy within their clinic in Whitechapel, London, England

Job Role: MALE Hijama Therapist –London Cupping Clinic, Whitechapel, London, UK
Contact: Dr.A.Farhaat

“Our friendly, well established and respected private hijama clinics are located in Tooting and Whitechapel. Currently employing 8 hijama therapists over two sites we need to recruit one or more MALE Hijama therapists on a either a full time or part time basis, employed or as an associate. We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic individuals ready to take on a fantastic opportunity working alongside our multi-disciplinary team offering Medical consultations, deep tissue massage, acupuncture, dry & wet cupping and CBT.

The ethos of the practice is patient care above everything else, our clinic rooms are well-equipped and we have full admin support. We provide flexible hours and we support training and CPD. We have a very mixed case load, primarily chronic pain related to musculoskeletal, neuropathic and other diseases. Most treatments are done in our clinics and on occasion some domiciliary treatments.

Working on a part time basis of 10 hours a week initially, you will be committed to delivering the very best of care to our patients and be dedicated to building a solid client base, offering wet cupping / hijama treatments.

You will probably already have experience of working alone or in a private practice but we would certainly be interested in good outpatient experience. Acupuncture, massage, or any other complimentary skill would be welcome and we would be especially interested in experience of Women’s (and Men’s) health issues and treatment.

You will have responsibility for assessing and treating your own caseload of patients and maintaining associated records. As an autonomous practitioner they will be responsible for diagnosis, treatment and management of each patient. Supervision takes the form of regular one to one formal training, clinical reasoning sessions, peer review, caseload discussion and formal clinical supervision and as well as department in-service training. Access to advice and support from a senior therapist is available if required, clinical work is routinely evaluated.
