First method is to use a material called "rubber mud" on the edges of cups that helps to maintain air pressure without shaving the head ie on areas where there are hairs .
2. The other way is how I perform here in my practice but will explain that later inshaAllah

Thanks
Usman Baloch

To Sister Tara Umm Omar, jazakAllah for your praye...

To Sister Tara Umm Omar, jazakAllah for your prayers, may Allah bless you with khair in this world and the next for your practice of Islam. Yes it is very much O.k to have Hijamah done on any day other than the forbidden day i.e Wednesday and we can learn this from different sayings of Prophet peace be upon him. But to have it done on 17,19,21
is most important as the saying of the Prophet is: Abu Hurairah (may Allaah be pleased with him) reported that the
Messenger (Sallallaahu Álayhi Wasallam ) said, “Whoever performs cupping on the 17th, 19th or 21st day (of the Islamic month) then it is a cure for every disease.” [Saheeh Sunan Abi Dawud (3861)] - http://www.cupping.ws/cupping/religious_cupping.htm

Salams all,
